Cow Shed

 

Description

 

The cow shed, circa 1800?, has traditional English framing with clapboard and vertical sheathing.   It is 12’ wide (18’ with 6’ lean-to addition), 30’ long (54’ with a 24’ addition and is 15’ high at the peak.

Work Completed

  • Cribbing and bracing installed to support structure until a preservation plan is implemented

  • Development of a preservation plan
  • Monitor condition of building
